Field Engineering

DSG starts every project with engineering layout. Beginning with control points provided by the registered surveyor, DSG establishes the vertical and horizontal control lines for the building. The established grid lines show exact placement of columns, walls and anchor bolts for construction. At every phase of construction DSG's engineering crews are on site to ensure exact placement of the structural elements in our contract, from foundation to elevated slabs.

DSG has three Engineering Crews, an Office/Field Engineer and a Field Engineering Supervisor with combined experience of over 100 years in construction. We use top of the line proven current technology in our DTM-520 Total Stations. Our engineering personnel are always being updated on their training in engineering and construction requirements.

Construction Software

DSG's office is equipped to receive and print project plans over the internet via email attachments or from CD disk. Our in-house capabilities are supported with a KIP2000 Digital Printer, KIP Plotter with KIP Powerprint Software and KIP Autocad drivers. DSG runs its business with Timberline Software. We are outfitted with Timberline for Estimating, Project Management, Job Cost Records, Accounting and Financial Reporting.
